自然景观
密歇根州的面积为十五万一千五百八十四平方公里。该州被区分为上下两个半岛，两者中间隔着麦奇奈克海峡。密歇根大部分的地形都是缓坡。位于上半岛最西北角的豪猪山脉，是该州唯一突起的地区。密歇根紧邻了五大湖中的伊利湖、休伦湖、密歇根湖以及苏必略湖。五大湖中有许多小岛属于密歇根州，像是：罗耶尔岛、麦奇奈克岛、以及端曼德岛。密歇根有超过一万五千个以上的内陆湖。
气候
